Always surround yourself with people who love you no matter what your mistakes, insecurities, and blind spots are. Let them serve you. Let them lead you to Christ. In order to have a friend, you must be a friend. LOVE your people no matter what their mistakes, insecurities, and blind spots are. Serve them. Lead them to Christ. Allow each other to make mistakes until those mistakes lead you away from Christ and goodness. If this happens they are not a friend.

closing chapters.
As I begin new chapters of my life I must also close some. High school cheerleading has been one of the biggest blessings in my life so far. It has taught me how to stregthen my strengths and strengthen my weaknesses, how to love & serve others, how to push through trials with grace and patience, and most importantly how to LOVE Texas football.
Friday nights in Texas are the best nights. What kept me going in school was knowing if I worked harder I would have even more fun Friday night not worrying about school work and cheering for the best football team ever. My favorite part of cheer was dancing. I love love love shaking my pom poms, smiling, and dancing to a well choreographed 8 count. I also LOVED getting ready for games: makeup, hair, self-tanner (hehe no shame). I loved to look my best on the sideline and you can see from freshman to senior year I became much better at it.
Before I get into each year of pictures and memories I have a few people to thank for the best four years.
Marilee. Thank you for making come to tryouts freshman year. You helped me chase after something I never in a million years thought I could pull off. You made up for the confidence I lacked and taught me how to go after adventure and not care what people think. If it wasn't for you and our beautiful friendship I might still be sweating through volleyball. I am going to miss cheering with you next year!!!!! You taught me to be spontaneous and to keep friends close while doing it, something I will continue through college. I love you to the moon and back and then back again. I can't put into words how fortunate and unworthy I am to have a friend like you.
Allison. Oh my goodness I love you!!! Thank you for sharing cheer with me!!!! I know this is your sport and you weren't so sure how it would go when I started (no one was), but I am so so thankful you taught me everything you knew, helped me with my jumps, and quieted my insecurities. You are tough and strong. I wish we could cheer together forever. But thankfully we will always be sisters. We will experience college together, dates boys and make sure the boys worthy of each other, get married, raise kids together, and grow old and forever be sisters. I thank the Lord God gave me you. Enjoy these last two years of High School cheer. You are so extremely talented and the best cheereleader I know. I love you forever and ever and can't wait for our futures.
April. AHHH I love you!!!! I am so sad you are no longer my cheer coach, but you will always be my friend!!! I will always cherish and never forget how you helped me thorugh my rough patch beginning of senior year. You would randomly pull me aside, speak truth to me, and pray over me. I will always remember how you taught me what it looks like to be kind and sweet, but stern and persistent. Haha perfect for a cheer coach. I will keep calling you for advice about fashion, boys, and life and keep you close to my heart always. I love your sweet family especially Julia Jane. I hope someday I can be just like you and have a sweet precious God fearing family (and to die for house). I thank my lucky stars God put me on your cheer team.
Momma. You were my backbone through highschool. Whenever I struggled with school, cheer, friends, drama, teachers, stress you were there supporting me and loving on me. Thank you for not only supporting Allison and me, but our teammates, always organizing snacks, dates, timing, emails and being the best team mom ever!! One of my favorite memories was when you drove the bus to Waco for our competition and state. We all had so much fun with you. You are my favorite person in this entire world and I love being your twin. Whenever someone tells me I look like you it is the biggest compliment ever. I can't wait to be a momma just like you. Thanks for loving me all my life. I am so undeserving of your motherly love. I love you forever and ever.

Thank you to Regents Cheerleading for the best four years ever. I challenge everyone to go out of their comfort zone, be ambitious and spontaneous, and try something you never thought you'd do. When I did this, it brought me my bestest friends, sweetest memories, and closer relationship to Jesus. I will always miss friday nights at Regents, but I am thankful for what it was. Love you RSA cheer.
xoxo, em
