Favorite Places

I love love love to travel!!!! All these places have a special spot in my heart. There is definitly a pattern with each place (hehe shopping). Here are a few of my FAVORITE places with adorable pics and memories!!!

London, England

If I could live anywhere it would hands down be London. I would live in a white townhouse with big windows, lovely panneling, steps leading up to a blue front door, and pots of light pink flowers below every window. I've never been more happy than I am in London. I channel my inner Kate MIddleton and wear pastel trench coats, warm classy sweaters, big curls, pearl earrings and pink lips. My favorite things to do in London are shop, eat in the most adorable yummy cafes, admire art in the lovliest museums, and just walk around and take in the beauty of London. Everything is better in London. Literally I'll be waiting in the longest most dreadful line and I think to myself, wow I'm waiting in line IN LONDON and I can't help, but smile with a heart full of happiness.

hehe I'm flexing hard in this photo

Maui, Hawaii

Growing up in CA we went to Maui often. Something about Hawaii makes me feel like a different person. I'm more relaxed, more adventurous, and more tan. The volcano hikes and paddle boarding are endless fun and I highly recommend snorkling on coral reifs (even though I swim quickly to the boat when there are sharks). I rarely eat fish, but in Hawaii I eat it every meal because it is so fresh and so delicious. Also packing and dressing for Hawaii is one of the best parts. Roxy is my favorite company that I can get away with wearing in CA & HA. It's super beachy, casual, flirty, and to die for.

our fave hotel grand wailea

Disneyland

Cliche? Maybe. Happiest place on earth? YES. I grew up 30 min from Disneyland so we would go ALL the time. We would go after school and hang out, we would go just to get dinner, we would go if we had nothing to do, and we would go especially if we had friends in town. I was blissful and thought every kid grew up by a Disneyland, but little did I know how lucky I had it. Disney has a big part of my heart. So many of my childhood memories and family tradtions are there. Every Christmas my family would sit on the sidewalk as the snow fell watching the Christmas parade and fireworks. I was convinved I was adopted and was actually a princess when I was little (even though my mom and I are identical) so whenever I met Disney princesses I felt right at home. I can't wait to take my own kids to Disney someday.

Fashion Island

If you've never shopped at Fashion Island, then you haven't shopped before. Shopping at Fashion Island is a life changing experince, not only because you will break the bank and have to get a job ASAP, but because of it's world class shopping, open-air layout, resturants, and location on the beach. They have personal shopping stylists as well as every designer and company you can imagine. Not only do they have everything, but it's one of the nicest stores the company has. For example, the forever 21 has 3 stories, it's super clean, and everything is folded or hanging and where it's supposed to go (if you've been to f21 then you know what I'm talking about). The anthropologie is UNREAL. The bloomingdales is BEAUTIFUL. The chanel is GORGEOUS. And The Nike store is HUGE. There is even an Urban Decay, Louis Vuitton, Rebecca Taylor, Prada, Tom Ford, Gucci, and Saint Laurent.

Nice, France

I only spent a night in Nice and never saw the sun, but it was sooooo fun! We had the most amazing Italian dinner and all my firends jumped in the ocean with their clothes on to be able to say they've swimmed in the Mediterranean. It was ridiculously cold so I put my feet in. The town itself is right on the border of Italy and France, so it is a fun mix of French culture with Italian people and food!

the only pic i took in nice haha

nice during the day (never saw lol)

Chicago, Illinois

I LOVE CHICAGO. Oh my goodness!! Y'all I love it so much I would love to live there! My favorite things to do in Chicago are shop, walk around the city and beach, go to CUBS games, eat deep dish, go to the art institute, and drink coffee!!

Rome, Italy

Rome was the last stop on the Europe trip and I was not expecting to LOVE it as much as I do. I fell in love with the architecture, history, food, people, and monuments. There was so much to do and look at. I loved walking on the old streets and the endless flower stands. The gelato, pizza, pasta, bread and olive oil was delicious.

Savannah, Georgia

Savannah, Georgia will always have a special place in my heart. Savannah College of Art and Design is such a lovely college and my top choice in art schools. I'm in love with the history, location, people, townhouses, and squares of Savannah. There are 27 squares so every street corner you turn is a new square with its own personality. There is so much to do in Savannah as a tourist, student, or family. I can't wait for my next visit to Savannah and next class at SCAD.

Paris, France

I get a homesick feeling thinking about Paris. I won't be able to do this justice because Paris is outstanding and has so much going on. To start, the shopping is some of the best in the world. Avenue des Champs-Élysées which contects Place Charles de Gaulle (Arc de Triomphe) and the Louve has endless shopping. It contains Adidas Brand Center Paris, Swarovski, Heremés, Ladurée, the biggest Sephora ever (with red carpet), Longchamp, Promod, Fendi, Zara, Tiffany, the Mercedes-Benz Gallery, and the famous 3 story Louis Vuitton Masion Champs Élysées. Also Printemps Haussmann has wonderful shopping finished with a outdoor coffee shop on the roof and view of the eiffel tower. Besides shopping, Paris has wonderful sights, architecture, history, river walks, crepes, people, and so much to do. I highkey suggest going on a bike tour and kissing a boy on the eiffel tower. You never know what can come of it.

Austin, Texas

Austin, Texas is one of the greatest cities in the world. It has a great mix of country, southern hospitality, city vibes, fitness, delicious food, and culture. It is a powerhouse city. With so many different types of people with many backgrounds and upbringings Austin is definitely kept weird. There are countless local businesses with the greatest food and shopping. My favorite things to do are shop and dine at 2nd street, shop and dine at the Domain, go to UT football games, take a run at townlake, go boating with friends, go country dancing (rarely haha), have picnics in Zilker Park, jam at ACL, and just hang with friends anywhere in Austin. Austin will forever have my heart.

Auburn, Alabama

My new home away from home!!!!! War Eagle!!! I am so so excited to spend the next 4 years in this fun loving city!!!! I love the people of Auburn as well as the beautiful nature and town squares. I'm excited for photoshoots with my roomies, tailgating on Saturdays, FOOTBALL, rushing, studying fashion merchandising, and making new friends and memories!!!!! I am beyond blessed and so stoked!

Allison, not me lol

Coto de Caza, California

Home sweet home. This was home for most of my life. I always get a bittersweet feeling looking at old pics of my house and neighborhood. It had the best country club ever, horse trails, wonderful tennis coaches, beautiful hills and valleys, lovely neighbors, great hiking, and beautiful homes. It was hard to leave my lovley champange pink room and beautiful Californian home, but I am thankful to have moved to ATX and had a chance to live in this beautiful place. Miss you Coto!!!

Love these places with my whole HEART. Can't wait to explore many new places and

re-experience the old ones!!

xoxo, em
